Integration Engineer

Role Description The Integration Engineer at Farmacia San Carlo will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integrations between pharmacy systems and third-party applications. This part-time remote role involves analyzing workflows, mapping data fields, and configuring interfaces to ensure seamless data exchange and system interoperability. Day-to-day activities include reviewing integration requirements, developing and testing integration components, monitoring integration performance, and resolving technical issues in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors. The Integration Engineer will document integration specifications, support deployment and updates, and contribute to continuous improvement of system reliability and efficiency. This role also includes providing technical guidance to stakeholders, ensuring adherence to industry standards, and maintaining secure handling of data. Qualifications Strong analytical skills to interpret system requirements, data flows, and integration dependencies.Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosis of integration issues, including root-cause analysis and incident resolution.Experience with software development related to integrations, such as APIs, scripting, or middleware tools.Background in integration and systems engineering, including designing, implementing, and maintaining system interfaces.Familiarity with healthcare or pharmacy information systems is an advantage.Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time hours effectively, and collaborate across distributed teams.Strong communication skills for coordinating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or equivalent practical experience preferred.
