The Role
As a Software Engineer, you'll work across the design, architecture and build of enterprise systems that support trading, operations and risk functions.
You'll have real ownership over tools, reports and feeds that directly serve the business, and you'll collaborate closely with heads of business lines and front office trading to implement and maintain critical systems.

Key Responsibilities
Design, architect and build enterprise systems end to endBuild tools, reports and feeds that fulfil requirements from trading, operations and risk teamsOwn software quality, efficiency, cost and operational resiliencyParticipate actively in cross-company technology efforts to support wider business goalsWork closely with heads of business lines and front office trading on system implementation and maintenanceContribute to testing strategy, including unit, integration and functional testingSupport CI/CD pipeline development and containerised, automated deployments
What You'll Need
Essential:
At least 2 years of experience in a technical role (fresh graduates also welcome to apply)Bachelor's or postgraduate degree from a recognised university in a related fieldExperience working in a cloud environmentStrong computer science fundamentalsUnderstanding of software architecture and designExposure to cloud infrastructure such as AWS or another major cloud platformDatabase design and management experience, ideally PostgreSQL
Desirable / Nice to Have:
AWS certificationExtensive Java experience, ideally including Spring BootExperience with queue-based systems such as Kafka
