We are hiring for Java Developer (Microservices / Kafka / OpenShift / Event-Driven - Clearing & Settlement Systems) Location : Hybrid 3-4 days per week in London Office Senior Java Developer driving the strategic replacement of a legacy clearing platform using cloud-native, event-driven architectures.prior expertise in Capital markets, post-trade processing, clearing, and settlement ecosystems within regulated financial services.Hands-on expertise in designing high-throughput, resilient microservices using Java 21+, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.Apache Kafka (KRaft architecture), Kafka Streams, Schema Registry, and Kafka Connect for real-time streaming integrations.Direct experience deploying, managing, and automating containerized applications using OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts.Strong proficiency with CI/CD automation (Bamboo, ArgoCD), Git/Bitbucket, and monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana).
