Enterprise System Development Engineer
Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, maintain, and enhance in-house enterprise systems, including CMS, CRM, operations and finance management platforms, internal tools, and data dashboards.Work closely with Content, Sales, Operations, Finance, and other business teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective technical solutions.Handle end-to-end development, including system design, coding, testing, deployment, integration, and production support.Develop and maintain back-end services, APIs, databases, caching mechanisms, and system integrations.Ensure system stability, performance, scalability, and security through proper monitoring, logging, backup, recovery, and troubleshooting procedures.Investigate system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions and improvements.Maintain technical documentation covering system architecture, APIs, configurations, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting guides.Collaborate with the Shanghai R&D Team on the localization, integration, deployment, and enhancement of centrally developed systems.Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve the efficiency of existing enterprise systems.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.At least 3 years of experience in enterprise application or back-end development.Proficient in at least one back-end language: Java, Python, or Go (Golang).Strong knowledge of web frameworks, REST APIs, and relational databases, particularly MySQL or PostgreSQL.Familiarity with caching technologies and message queues.Experience with ERP, CRM, CMS, finance, or other enterprise system development/integration is an advantage.Good understanding of system security, monitoring, backup, and production support.Strong requirements analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Good communication skills with the ability to work independently with business stakeholders and cross-functional technical teams.
