Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities Recommend the optimum team structure to management based on company ambitions. Organise and manage all Piping Engineering and Design works for various Offshore, Onshore Greenfield and Brownfield Projects.Develop and implement departmental goals, strategies, and work plans in alignment with the organization's objectives.Provide leadership and direction to the Piping Department, including mentoring, coaching & formal training. Be responsible for the management of the performance of the various members of the department.Oversee piping design projects from conceptualization to execution, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations and contractual obligations.Provide technical expertise and guidance to solve complex piping-related challenges.Collaborate with other department heads, project managers, and relevant stakeholders to ensure effective communication and seamless project integration.Review and approve piping designs, technical specifications, and engineering calculations.Monitor project schedules and budgets, identifying and addressing potential risks or delays.Ensure the efficient utilization of resources, including manpower and software tools, to achieve project goals.Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to piping design and engineering.Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the department.Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations as required.Ensure that health, safety, and environmental regulations are strictly adhered to in all departmental activities.Supporting Business Development activities by giving realistic estimation of man-hours and resource requirements for winning the jobs. Experience And Qualification Required Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Master's degree is a plus.25 years of experience in Piping Design and Engineering with 5 years in a leadership roleMust have knowledge and experience in all the three fields of piping i.e. piping layouts, piping stress analysis and piping materials.Offshore piping experience will be considered a plusIn-depth knowledge of Piping codes & standards and proficiency in relevant softwaresStrong communication skills both written and verbal
