The team operates within a modern cloud-native architecture and the engineering culture is genuinely autonomous… engineers are expected to understand the problems they are solving, make architectural decisions and take ownership of the software they build in production. The Role This is a genuine senior full-stack role, and that word matters here. The team is not looking for a backend engineer who occasionally touches the frontend, or a React specialist who makes small API changes. You will be expected to take a problem from initial product discussion and technical design through frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure, testing and production deployment. You will work closely with product managers and designers within a highly autonomous environment, contributing to architectural decisions rather than consuming them. The core environment is React, TypeScript, Python and AWS, alongside cloud-native, event-driven and distributed systems. The team is also actively exploring how AI-assisted development tools improve the way software is designed, built and maintained, which makes this an interesting opportunity for engineers who are already working this way and want an environment that actively encourages it.
