Description
We are looking for a skilled Senior Data Engineer with solid Terraform knowledge to architect, develop, and support scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
In this position, you will spearhead the creation of reliable data pipelines while championing best practices in infrastructure automation and DevOps workflows.
This is a fully remote position that offers you the flexibility to work from any location in Armenia, whether it's your home or well-equipped offices in Yerevan or Gyumri.
Responsibilities
Architect and develop scalable data pipelines using GCP servicesSpearhead the creation of data solutions utilizing BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataform/dbtCoordinate workflows with Cloud Composer/AirflowHandle real-time data streaming via Pub/Sub and Cloud StorageDeploy infrastructure as code with TerraformSet up and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub ActionsWork with stakeholders to convert business needs into technical solutionsGuarantee data quality, reliability, and performance throughout all systemsCoach team members and advocate for engineering best practices
Requirements
3+ years of practical experience with SQL and PythonDeep knowledge of GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataform/dbtCompetence in Cloud Composer/Airflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud StorageAbilities in DevOps practices including CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and TerraformStrong verbal and written communication abilitiesSound business acumenEnglish skills at B2 level or above
