About the Job
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Software Engineer to join the team on a full-time basis in our Sydney Office! In your day to day, you will:
Research, analyse and evaluate business requirements and technical specifications for software development.Design, develop and implement high-quality software applications, modules, and system integrations.Test, debug, and refine software to ensure it meets functional, performance, and security requirements.Maintain and enhance existing software systems by monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and applying upgrades.Write and maintain technical documentation including specifications, test procedures, and user guides.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (project managers, business analysts, engineers, and stakeholders) to deliver projects on time.Apply software engineering best practices such as version control, code reviews, and design patterns.Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to improve development processes and business outcomes.Ensure compliance with organisational policies, industry standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.Provide technical advice, mentorship, and support to colleagues where required.
About you
Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline (required).Experience: Minimum 1 years of professional experience in software engineering (preferred).Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.Familiarity with frameworks, APIs, and cloud technologies.Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases.Knowledge of agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.Core Competencies:
