Senior Cloud / DevOps Engineer – Azure | AWS | Kubernetes | Terraform We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud / DevOps Engineer to join a high-performing technology team delivering scalable, secure and highly available cloud platforms and applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Cloud/DevOps professional with strong experience across Azure DevOps, AWS, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, CI/CD and automation. You will work closely with engineering, architecture and application teams to design, build and optimise modern cloud environments and deployment pipelines. Key Responsibilities Design, build and maintain scalable, secure and highly available cloud infrastructure, primarily within AWS.Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudFormation and AWS CDK.Build, deploy and manage containerised workloads using Docker, Kubernetes and Amazon ECS.Design, implement and enhance automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, TeamCity, AWS CodePipeline and GitOps practices.Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management and deployment processes using Python, Bash, PowerShell and Ansible.Partner with development teams to enable reliable deployment of applications and microservices across cloud environments.Implement monitoring, observability and logging solutions using tools such as Splunk, CloudWatch, DataDog, New Relic, Prometheus and Grafana.Troubleshoot complex cloud, infrastructure, application and deployment issues across development and production environments.Support cloud security, governance, performance optimisation, resilience and operational best practices.Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps processes, engineering standards, automation frameworks and platform capabilities. Essential Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud-native architectures.Strong experience with Terraform and Terragrunt for Infrastructure as Code.Demonstrated experience with Docker and Kubernetes in enterprise environments.Strong CI/CD experience using Jenkins, TeamCity, AWS CodePipeline and/or GitOps.Experience with configuration management and automation using Ansible.Strong scripting or programming capability with Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar languages.Good understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs and distributed applications.Experience implementing monitoring, logging and observability solutions.Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.Experience working with Git-based source control and modern DevOps engineering practices.
