Role Description As a Senior Software Engineer at Aura Labs, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions that power digital experiences for commercial real estate clients.
You will architect and implement backend services, integrate APIs and third-party systems, and ensure high performance and reliability across applications.
Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing code, mentoring other engineers, collaborating with product managers and designers, and participating in technical decision-making.
You will also help improve development processes, contribute to system design documentation, and support deployments and troubleshooting in production environments.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hong Kong SAR.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software architecture.Love to explore and leverage new tools and AI for development.Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience delivering production-ready applications.Hands-on expertise in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and performance optimization.Solid understanding and practical use of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.Experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or Node.js) and relevant frameworks.Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization is beneficial.Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and provide technical mentorship.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience in Proptech, IoT, or working with building systems is a plus.
