Founding Engineer - SonicCritic New Orleans / Remote SonicCritic is a direct-to-fan music streaming platform. The model is simple: artists keep 88% of net subscription revenue (net of payment processing), paid directly through a user-centric attribution ledger rather than the pro-rata pool that Spotify and Apple use. We're privacy-first - no listener data harvesting, no ad tech. The product is live on iOS and the web today. I built the MVP solo and self-funded it. It works, it's real, and it's pre-revenue. I'm now hiring the first engineer to build alongside me - not to maintain someone else's system, but to own large parts of the next one.
