Make quality engineering count from day one.
As an Engineer, Development, you will own small to medium features from technical design through to completion, deliver steady progress and make evidence-based decisions with your team.
You will use design patterns, CI/CD practices, pipeline automation, Cloud and Design principles, Git and Git Workflows to build and improve software.
Working with developers, QA, security, designers and user researchers, you will create prototypes, implement meaningful components, write effective asynchronous code and resolve production issues.
You will also support continuous improvement, share feedback and help engineers earlier in their careers grow their capability.

For this role we’re looking for a collaborative software engineer who brings sound technical judgement, curiosity and a commitment to quality.
We would love to hear from you if you have experience in the following:
Strong experience with developer platforms and software delivery tooling, including GitHub Enterprise Cloud, Azure DevOps, source control, repository management, branching strategies, and engineering standards.Deep experience designing and supporting CI/CD platforms using GitHub Actions, AWS Developer Tools, Azure Pipelines, deployment automation, and release management, with security, quality, and compliance embedded into delivery pipelines.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and platform automation (e.g.
Terraform), creating reusable self-service capabilities that improve developer productivity.Strong troubleshooting and operational support capability, with a focus on platform reliability, automation, continuous improvement, and reducing friction for engineering teams.A customer-focused mindset and passion for developer experience, enabling teams to deliver value faster, more safely, and with greater autonomy.
Bonus:
Experience administering GitHub Enterprise Cloud, including enterprise policies, runners, security controls, repository governance, and developer onboarding.Understanding of platform governance, lifecycle management, risk controls, and change management, balancing developer experience with security and organisational requirements.Experience with enterprise build systems and developer toolchains, including technologies such as Cake Build, MSBuild, NuGet, containerised builds, and software packaging.Experience with modern developer enablement technologies, such as MCP Servers, developer portals, internal developer platforms, platform engineering products, and engineering productivity tooling.Experience working in banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments.Experience supporting large-scale engineering transformations, CI/CD migrations, platform modernisation, or cloud adoption initiatives.Experience driving adoption of DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering practices.
