IDR is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join one of our top clients for an on-site opportunity in Austin, TX.
This role involves supporting enterprise software development, security, and delivery platforms within a leading organization in the technology industry.
The engineer will serve as a technical expert, collaborating with various teams to enhance security, automation, and operational practices across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Position Overview for the DevSecOps Engineer:
Support the administration, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise DevSecOps platforms.Act as a subject matter expert in integrating security, automation, and operational best practices into the SDLC.Collaborate with development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to improve software quality and delivery efficiency.Requirements for the DevSecOps Engineer:
Experience administering and supporting AWS and/or Azure cloud environments, including cloud infrastructure, security, networking, automation, IaC, container platforms, and CI/CD integrations.Knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies and best practices.Proven ability to develop, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.Experience with application security testing tools such as Veracode and SonarQube.Strong scripting and automation skills.What's in it for you?
