Description
RCT is seeking a Senior Software Developer-SME for a 200+ FTE technical development program supporting the Sponsor’s Web-based applications.
The Software Developer will work with a large team of developers, DevOPS engineers, security engineers, systems engineers, and data engineers.
The developer will be full stack knowledgeable, but will likely be focused on technical backend work (e.g., web services).
The candidate must have 6-10 years of demonstrable developer experience with a backend emphasis.
Additionally, after a one-year onboarding period, the candidate will be required to be included in an on-call, one week duty rotation that will require them to address any system issues that occur after normal working hours.
Core hours are from 9 AM to 3 PM daily, five days per week, with a forty-hour work week.
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
BS degree in a related information technology discipline, and/or relevant work experience is required Strong Java programming skills / Java persistence API experience for complex database schemas Java web services experience (JAX/WS) Strong understanding, knowledge of Linux (CLI) Experience in working on teams utilizing Agile workflows and processes Working knowledge of the Spring frameworks/Boot
