As a Software Engineer Specialist (Java/Kotlin), you will be focused on building and maintaining the core payment features that enable us to manage the lifecycle of different payment flows as well ensuring consistency and reliability of payment operations. Design, build, and deliver highly scalable software systems operating in complex, global business environments, used across more than 70 countriesLead backend engineering efforts with a strong focus on distributed systems, leveraging Java, Kotlin, and modern frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JUnit.Own services end-to-end by embracing a true “you build it, you run it” mindset, with deep involvement in infrastructure automation and continuous deployment.Define and execute highly effective testing strategies by applying unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing at scale.Drive high-quality software design by systematically applying design patterns, SOLID principles, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).Build secure, resilient systems by applying secure coding best practices throughout the development lifecycle.Rapidly diagnose and resolve complex production issues across multi-region, distributed microservices platforms.Set the bar for operational excellence, including on-call standards, reliability engineering, and best-in-class observability practices.Influence engineering culture through hands-on leadership, technical mentorship, and continuous improvement.
