About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team supporting a critical intelligence customer in St. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure and automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and security. As a key member of the Common Operations Release Environment (CORE) team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, cost-effective cloud solutions tailored to our client’s specific needs. Your expertise will directly impact the safety, security, and effectiveness of our client’s operations, ensuring that today’s systems are resilient and tomorrow’s innovations are built on a solid foundation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related roles.Security clearance: TS/SCI clearance is required.Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Strong experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK Stack.Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards within cloud environments.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud and on-premises infrastructure to support client initiatives.Automate and optimize service deployment processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline application build, test, and deployment workflows.Establish and improve system monitoring and alerting to proactively identify and resolve issues.Apply configuration management tools to ensure consistency across environments.Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to implement best practices and standards.Analyze system performance metrics and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and security protocols.Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
