Full Stack Engineer

Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite) Duration-12 Months+ Daily Responsibility: Build and ship features across a Python (FastAPI) backend and React TypeScript frontend. Participate in sprint ceremonies with the squad. Collaborate with researchers to integrate and harden GenAI components — LLM-driven virtual clients, real-time coaching feedback, post-session evaluation agents. Write and maintain automated tests (pytest, Vitest, Testing Library) and review PRs. Deploy and monitor services via Helm on OpenShift; respond to production alerts. Use AI-powered development tools (Claude Code, Windsurf, or similar) as a standard part of the daily coding workflow. Essential for this role: Python/FastAPI (backend services and GenAI integration, used daily), React TypeScript (frontend feature development, used daily), LLM/GenAI tooling (virtual client generation, coaching and evaluation pipelines, used regularly), pytest/Vitest/Testing Library (automated testing throughout the lifecycle), Git and code review (daily), Docker/Helm/Kubernetes-OpenShift (containerization and deployment), AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and/or Windsurf (candidates are expected to be comfortable using these as part of their workflow).
