Java Developer

Required Skills -Education Level: Bachelor's Degree. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience. -Experience: 8 years+ as a Java Developer, providing Software design and development, software test and evaluation, software requirements management. - Prior experience with onboarding web services on to APIM platform (preferably IBM API Connect) - Experience building web services with MongoDB as the backend is must have. Must be able to build applications ontop of MongoDB (critically important) - Expertise in creating APIs preferably in cloud/EKS with cloud databases ( PostGres, MongoDB etc) and onboarding APIs on APIM gateway ( such as IBM APIC ) -Agile/Scrum framework experience required. - Must have strong Spring Boot framework knowledge. - Strong in web service developments (REST API, SOAP) - Strong understanding APIs architectures, and experience of certificate, API communications with other systems along with different authentication methods. - Solid hands-on experience in Java/J2E, Spring, Spring Boot, JDBC, Hibernate, JMS, XML, XSLT, including detail design, coding, and unit testing. - Excellent object-oriented analysis and design patterns/techniques with foundation and expert knowledge in the area of Web Services (Restful, SOAP, API), Core Java and J2EE standards. - Implement secure and scalable API solutions to meet business requirements. - Writing clean, efficient, and scalable code - Troubleshooting and debugging issues - Experience/knowledge in Health Care industry is plus. - GraphQL background is highly desirable
