About The Role
The role owns the design, implementation, and scaling of core backend services powering high-throughput distributed systems.
The engineering team builds robust APIs, optimizes data stores, and ensures high availability for mission-critical user-facing applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Node.js, Python, or Go for production microservicesOptimize database queries, schema designs, and caching layers utilizing PostgreSQL, Redis, and DynamoDBImplement containerized deployments and manage cloud infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWSMonitor system health, latency, and error rates through observability platforms like Datadog and PrometheusParticipate in rigorous code reviews, architecture discussions, and engineering best practices definition
What We Are Looking For
3–6 years of professional backend software engineering experience with large-scale distributed systemsProficiency in at least two backend programming languages such as Go, Python, or TypeScript/Node.jsDemonstrated experience with relational and NoSQL databases, message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ, and cloud environmentsSolid understanding of software design patterns, concurrency, distributed consensus, and API securityBonus: Experience with event-driven architectures, service mesh technologies, or GraphQL federation
