Site Reliability Engineer

Iris's client, one of the American education science companies is looking to hire a Site Reliability Engineer for a contract opportunity. Position: Site Reliability Engineer Location: 100% remote Duration: 6-12+ month T4 contract Required Skills for the job: As a Site Reliability Engineer within a small team, you will collaborate in a DevOps model with product development teams; designing, deploying, and managing automation tools that increase predictability as well as time to market while reducing cost. What you'll do: Strong and recent experience with AWS, specifically: EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), a top priority and IAM (Identity and Access Management), a top priorityStrong experience with Terraform.Experience with Docker/Kubernetes environments.Ability to work comfortably in a Linux environment.Candidates should be able to troubleshoot, navigate containers, and support cloud infrastructure effectively. Preferred Skills Background in software development is a plus.Exposure to PHP, Node.js, and Golang is beneficial but not mandatory.Additional AWS services can be learned on the job.
