DevOps Engineer

Title: DevOps Engineer (CI/CD & GitHub Actions) Location: Toronto, Hybrid (2-3 days onsite) Contract Duration: 3-6 Months Rate: CAD $50-$60/hr (Depending upon years of experience) We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with 8-12 years of experience to join a growing team and support large-scale development and deployment initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in CI/CD, version control, build automation, and GitHub Actions. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.Manage and optimize source code repositories and version control processes.Develop and support automated build and deployment solutions.Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve software delivery processes.Implement GitHub Actions workflows and CI/CD best practices.Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and automation-related issues.Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of DevOps processes and tools. Required Skills & Experience 8-12 years of overall IT experience with strong DevOps expertise.Proficiency with Version Control Systems such as Git and SVN.Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Travis CI, and CircleCI.Strong knowledge of build automation tools such as Maven, Gradle, and Ant.Experience with scripting languages including Python, Bash, PowerShell, and YAML.Strong understanding of GitHub Actions, workflows, and industry best practices.Experience working with Jobs, Steps, Actions, and Runners within CI/CD pipelines.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
