About The Role We’re looking for a senior full-stack engineer who can join quickly, ramp into an existing product and codebase, and own meaningful projects. This is a good fit for someone who likes the combination of an established product with real customers and the ownership of an early stage startup. There’s plenty already built, but there’s also a lot left to invent. What You’ll Do You’ll work across the 4Degrees product on problems like: Building AI-powered workflows that help investors and deal teams get useful answers from their relationship and CRM data - and take action with less manual workAdvancing our relationship intelligence platform - helping users understand who knows whom, which relationships are strongest, where they have a path into a company, and how their network can help them accomplish their goalsReimagining traditional CRM workflows so more of the work of keeping a CRM updated can happen automatically or through natural language interfacesBuilding product experiences end to end, from backend APIs and data models through the UIMaking a growing SaaS product faster and more reliable, including solving real performance, data, and production challengesUsing AI development tools aggressively to help a small engineering team ship substantially more than a traditional one Because our engineering team is small, you won’t be one engineer among hundreds working on a narrow piece of the product. You’ll have meaningful ownership, work closely with the founders and product team, and see things you build reach customers quickly. What You’ll Bring trong software engineering fundamentals and experience shipping production SaaS productsSignificant experience with Python on the backendComfortable working with Javascript on the frontendStrong SQL/database skillsAble to debug production issues and work effectively in a mature codebaseStrong implementation and design judgment - you can understand a problem, identify tradeoffs, make good decisions, and know when to escalate broader architectural questionsHigh ownership and able to execute independentlyVery comfortable using modern AI development tools like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar as part of your workflow Experience with GCP / Cloud Run, cloud infrastructure, background jobs, production reliability, or scaling SaaS applications is a plus. *This job posting exists to fill a vacancy.
