About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Application Engineer / Administrator to join a large-scale IT infrastructure environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of business-critical applications across production and non-production environments.
This role requires a strong background in application administration, containerized environments, Elasticsearch, enterprise server technologies, automation, and IT service management.
Your Responsibilities
Install, configure, administer, and maintain applications in production and non-production environments.Monitor application performance and availability and perform performance tuning where required.Support application lifecycle activities, including incident, change, release, and problem management.Develop and maintain application procedures, operational manuals, troubleshooting guides, and backup and restore plans.Automate recurring system administration and operational activities.Produce installation, administration, and technical support documentation.Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical knowledge bases.Monitor and report on application availability, performance, capacity, and usage.Ensure continuous improvement of service efficiency, reliability, and quality.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 6 years of experience working as an IT professional in mid-sized or large IT infrastructure environments.Minimum 5 years of experience in application administration, deployment, support, and maintenance.Minimum 2 years of experience with microservices, container orchestration, and container-based technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.Minimum 2 years of experience administering and supporting Elasticsearch.Minimum 5 years of experience working with enterprise Microsoft and/or Linux server solutions.Strong professional experience in complex enterprise IT environments.Working proficiency in English, minimum B2 level.Relevant higher education or equivalent professional experience.Eligibility: EU candidates only
