Full-Stack Developer (Kotlin)

We are assisting our client, an established international online casino operating within the iGaming industry, in recruiting experienced Full-Stack Developers to join their growing technology team. The company already has operations abroad and is now expanding its presence by establishing a new office in Limassol, Cyprus. This is a hands-on development role for someone who understands the technical and operational environment of real-money online gaming. The successful candidate will work across both frontend and backend systems and will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from technical design and development through integrations, testing, deployment and ongoing platform improvements. The role will involve working on business-critical areas of the online casino platform, including player accounts, payments, game integrations, CRM, KYC, bonus functionality and other third-party systems. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain and improve both frontend and backend applications.Build scalable, secure and high-performance solutions for the online casino platform.Develop backend services primarily using Kotlin.Design, build and maintain REST APIs and microservices.Develop and maintain modern frontend interfaces and platform functionality.Integrate third-party game providers, payment gateways, CRM platforms, KYC providers, affiliate systems and other external services.Work on different areas of the platform, including casino products, payments and cashier solutions, player account management, bonuses, CRM, KYC and back-office systems.Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment and post-release support.Work closely with Product Managers to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to ensure reliable releases and stable production environments.Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes and implement long-term solutions.Continuously improve platform performance, security, reliability and scalability.Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation and engineering best practices.Support platform improvements, refactoring and technical debt reduction. Requirements Minimum 3+ years of professional Full-Stack development experience.Previous hands-on experience within iGaming / online casino platforms is required.Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin.Java experience will be considered a strong advantage.Strong understanding of both frontend and backend development.Experience with React, Next.js, Angular, Vue.js or similar modern frontend frameworks.Experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.Good understanding of distributed systems and scalable application architecture.Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or MSSQL.Experience with Docker and containerized applications.Experience working with Git and CI/CD pipelines.Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and take ownership of delivered solutions.Good communication skills in English. Strong Advantage Experience with platforms/providers such as Smartico, Betby, GR8 Tech, SoftSwiss, EveryMatrix, Pragmatic Play, Evolution or similar.Experience with high-volume transactional systems.Knowledge of KYC, AML, responsible gambling and iGaming compliance requirements.Experience with cloud infrastructure, event-driven architecture or NoSQL databases.Experience taking products or major features from concept through production launch.
