We are especially on the look-out for Maltese and Malta-based candidates for this role Overall Purpose of Position To work as part of a team on a range of software development projects as directed by the team leader or other appropriate manager. Responsibilities Develop new functionality on existing and new systemsMaintain current systems including provision of second-line supportProduce clean, efficient code based on specifications.Test the developed code before release on testing environmentAssist with the technology refreshesKeep assigned tasks updatedFollow company coding, standards and practices.Collaborate with your team to achieve the objectives Self- improvement Ensure to be well informed and up to date on tehcnical requirements of the specific postiion responsabilites. Supervision Received General direction from team lead on issues of strategic importance or issues that are contentious or sensitive. Working Conditions Normal office working conditions.Mostly working via teleworking however a minimum of once a week office attendance is mandatory as per company policy in placeMay be required to work with the client at client sites.May be be required to perform some duties in the next senior positions as part of personal development programme. Knowledge / Skill / Qualifications. A qualification in Computer Science or related field.Working Knowledge of Aspx, MVC, .NET, Microsoft Sql ServerExcellent communication in Maltese and English and critical thinking skills.Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset.Able to work independently with minimal supervision but also as part of a team.Candidates with 3 year experience in similar roles.
