Description

We are B2Spin, and we are dedicated to delivering the best Free-to-Play Social Casino and gaming experiences by creating captivating, engaging, and unique products that are accessible to everyone. We have built a team of talented professionals from all over the globe, who are working to continually improve the experiences of our players. We are not looking to just be part of the industry, but to revolutionize it. The role As a Platform Engineer within B2Spin's BI team, you'll own the foundational infrastructure that powers everything our data team builds. This isn't a supporting role β€” it's the engine room. You'll design and maintain the systems, pipelines, and tooling that keep our data platform secure, observable, and humming at scale, so that Data Engineers can focus on delivering insights rather than fighting infrastructure. What You'll Do Own the infrastructure layer end-to-end β€” provision and manage dev, staging, and production data environments using Infrastructure as Code, ensuring consistency and eliminating environment drift.Keep data secure and access tight β€” design and enforce IAM policies, role-based access controls, secrets rotation, and secure provisioning for external BI tools like Looker and Tableau.Run and evolve the data CI/CD toolchain β€” configure GitLab runners and automated pipelines purpose-built for data workflows, and maintain clean integrations across repositories, warehouses, orchestration frameworks, and analytics tools.Make problems visible before they become outages β€” implement observability frameworks that give the team proactive alerting and fast root-cause analysis across all pipelines and infrastructure.Drive platform reliability and cost accountability β€” audit resource utilisation, establish cost-allocation tagging, optimise spend, and maintain disaster recovery readiness.Be the enablement partner the data team relies on β€” act as the bridge between Data Engineering, Core Infrastructure, and IT, unblocking engineers so they can ship quickly and securely. What We're Looking For Solid, hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, or equivalent) in a data or analytics platform context.Proven depth in cloud IAM, secrets management, and security hardening across data platform environments.Confident operating CI/CD pipelines β€” particularly GitLab β€” with experience tailoring them for data engineering workflows rather than application development.Familiarity with modern data stack integrations: cloud data warehouses (e.g. BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift), orchestration tools, and BI platforms.Experience implementing observability and monitoring solutions for data infrastructure, not just application layers.A track record of cost governance β€” auditing cloud spend, tagging resources, and making optimisation recommendations.Nice to have: experience supporting BI tool access provisioning (Looker, Tableau) or working as an internal developer advocate within a data team. Our values At B2Spin, we're driven by passion β€” we love building cool things and want to work with the best. We operate with performance at our core: accountability, transparency, and a bias for progress over perfectionism. If that sounds like the environment where you do your best work, we'd love to hear from you. Equal opportunities We hire based on skills, drive, and ideas β€” nothing else. Your background, gender, age, race, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, religion, neurodiversity, or educational path will never be a barrier to joining us. We also welcome candidates from non-traditional career journeys and value diverse perspectives that challenge conventional thinking. Diversity fuels our innovation, collaboration, and growth, and we're committed to creating an environment where everyone can contribute their best work and thrive.
