Golang Developer
As a developer you would be joining our growing HashiVault squad as part of the strategy to offer more services and a better user experience to our clients in cybersecurity space.
The current squad is a "build-and-run " squad that has been running for 5 years and is spread across North America, Europe, and India.
We are adding more engineers and require a fungible developer to help us create the same culture of ownership and independence which exists in our current squad.
You will be working to design and implement new features, tooling, and automations to support cybersecurity controls and improve resiliency and reliability.

What will you be doing?
As a fungible Vault squad member, you will work on a variety of tasks, ranging from:feature design and development for security controls,implementing tooling or AI agents for vulnerability analysis and cyber resiliency,service delivery and DevOps tasks,developing testing frameworks and suits,participating in on-call rotation.Working with the Vault squad & wider Technology stakeholders, you will support the continuous improvement of our services through remediations against security findings, development, automation, and effective observability solutions.Enforce adherence to architectural standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc.Working with Technology teams, you will develop new integrations and onboard new tools to support business needs and integrate with our client's technology ecosystem.Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and various Agile ceremonies to help us produce the best product possible.You will deliver knowledge sharing and participate in cross-pollination of good practices and standards across our Vault squad & broader security organization, providing documentation and presentations What we are looking for:4+ years development experience for backend/full-stack Golang including REST APIs and microservices concepts.2+ years of experience in Kubernetes, including Helm.2+ years of experience in one or more of Azure, AWS, and GCP services.Solid skills in AI-enhanced software design and development.Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with a collaborative approach.Skills that will help you in the role:
Experience with IBM HashiCorp products such as Vault or Terraform.Experience with AI agent development, including leveraging MCP, A2A, or Vector DBs in AI agent development.Experience with concepts such as Retry patterns, Circuit breakers, Idempotency, Service discovery, API gateways...Experience with CI/CD pipeline technologies such as Jenkins, Gitlab, or Github Actions.Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code practices.Experience with reliability best practices, such as SLOs, incident response, observability engineering...Experience with cybersecurity practices, such as encryption at rest and in transit, secret management, CVE remediation, authentication/authorization, and PKI.
