We are looking for a versatile DevOps & Backend Engineer who can bridge the gap between application development and infrastructure. 🔍 Your Key Responsibilities · Design and manage resilient AWS infrastructure using Terraform · Build and optimize high-performance backend services using FastAPI and MongoDB · Manage containerized workloads and services on AWS EKS and ECS · Design and implement continuous integration pipelines, testing infrastructure, and support · Improve scalability, performance, observability, and security of infrastructure to support rapidly increasing demands · Proactively monitor systems to identify issues and anomalies and opportunities for improvement 🧠 What You Bring You are energetic, positive, and self-motivated. You can translate complex infrastructure concepts into plain EnglishMaintainability: You have a "leave it better than you found it" mindset when it comes to code quality and technical debtProblem Solving: You are able to debug complex issues across the entire stackTeam Player: You enjoy pair programming, participating in architectural brainstorms, and giving and receiving thoughtful, constructive code reviewsCross-Functional Mindset: You are eager to sit down with our Data Scientists or our biologists to understand their bottlenecks while also helping fellow engineers optimize deployment pipelines 🎓 Education & Experience At least 4 years of experience with Python specifically with modern web asynchronous frameworks like FastAPI (or similar)Experience with testing frameworks such as PytestProficiency with MongoDB, including schema design and performance tuningKnowledge of MongoDB indexing strategies and aggregation pipelines for large datasetsAt least 5 years of experience with AWS (Compute, Networking, IAM).
