About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Frontend Developer to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support, maintenance, and enhancements to a client application, ensuring its accessibility, reliability, and optimal performance within an Agile, sprint-based development environment.
The ideal candidate will possess robust expertise in modern web technologies, including JavaScript frameworks, responsive design, and accessibility standards such as Section 508 and WCAG.
You will leverage AWS cloud services, RESTful APIs, Git/GitHub, and open-source solutions to develop scalable, user-centric applications.
This position offers the opportunity to work remotely with occasional travel, supporting federal government projects that require adherence to strict security and compliance protocols.

Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of frontend development experienceBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or 6 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degreeProficiency with modern web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principlesExperience with JavaScript development using modern standards and frameworks such as ReactUnderstanding of Section 508 compliance and WCAG accessibility standardsExperience with accessibility testing tools, both automated and manualAbility to consume and integrate RESTful APIsExperience working within agile development methodologiesProficiency with version control systems, particularly Git/GitHubExperience creating web layouts from static images, views, and templates within full-stack frameworksKnowledge of AWS cloud environment and familiarity with Python backend and TypeScript front-end developmentStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environmentExcellent communication skills and attention to detail
