Description

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Software/ DevOps Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will lead production support and release coordination for critical customer-facing applications in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The position is focused on strengthening deployment execution, incident response, and operational reliability across cloud-based systems. You will partner closely with Engineering and DevOps teams to resolve vulnerabilities, improve resilience, and support stable service delivery. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $112,700 – $193,200 annually Responsibilities Lead production support for critical customer-facing applications Coordinate deployment planning and execution for application releases Manage change requests during the implementation lifecycle Facilitate P1 and P2 incident response efforts, ensuring effective communication Drive Root Cause Analysis and corrective action planning Plan and execute Disaster Recovery exercises across environments Collaborate with Engineering and DevOps to address security vulnerabilities Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or 6+ years of software engineering experience 8+ years of experience in Java programming 5+ years in lead production support for critical customer-facing applications 3+ years leading P1 and P2 incident responses 3+ years in public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP 2+ years with Docker and Kubernetes 1+ year in automation scripting with Python or Bash Benefits Comprehensive benefits package Incentive and recognition programs Equity stock purchase options 401k contributions Development opportunities for career growth Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
