Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps (ADO) Engineer (or Senior DevOps Engineer) to join our team in a dynamic SaaS environment.
You will play a critical role in supporting a next-generation IoT project by streamlining our software development lifecycle (SDLC) and developing the company’s core applications.
Working with the latest cloud and container technologies, your primary focus will be delivering robust Azure platforms to underpin development efforts, automating CI/CD pipelines, orchestrating Kubernetes (K8s) deployments, and bridging cloud workflows with our internal on-premises infrastructure.

Core Responsibilities
Infrastructure Setup & Configuration: Set up, configure, and manage Azure DevOps environments, including repositories, pipelines, and build/release agents.
Ensure infrastructure is properly provisioned and optimized for development needs.CI/CD Automation: Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate build, test, and deployment processes for frequent, reliable releases.Container Orchestration: Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes (K8s), ensuring scalable, secure, and resilient deployments.Hybrid Cloud Management: Bridge cloud deployments with internal on-premises infrastructure, ensuring smooth integration, deployment, and operation across hybrid environments.Version Control & SCM: Administer version control and source code management within Azure DevOps.
Create and manage repositories, branching strategies, and pull requests to facilitate collaboration and ensure code integrity.Release Management: Oversee the release pipeline and deployment processes.
Coordinate with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployments utilizing deployment gates, approvals, and environment management.Agile Project Enablement: Utilize Azure Boards to support Agile planning, task tracking, and project management.
Help teams create and manage work items, sprints, backlogs, and Kanban boards.Monitoring, Reporting & Optimization: Leverage Azure DevOps reporting and analytics capabilities to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to builds, releases, and overall SDLC health.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of dedicated experience as a DevOps Engineer, specifically utilizing the Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) platform.Kubernetes (K8s) Expertise: Solid hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes, including deploying, managing, and scaling containerized workloads.Pipeline Mastery: Deep, practical experience designing and managing complex CI/CD pipelines, configuring build agents, and managing release cycles.Agile Knowledge: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and practical experience configuring and managing Azure Boards for sprint and task tracking.Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with development, QA, and operations teams to optimize workflows and enforce best practices in source code management (Git).Bonus / Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with, maintaining, or migrating internal on-premises infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments is highly desirable.
