About the role
We are looking for an experienced Strapi Developer to join an enterprise-level project and take ownership of a Strapi-based headless CMS platform.
You will work on the development, administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of the platform, ensuring it remains performant, scalable, stable, and maintainable.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with content creators, Frontend teams, Architecture, and DevOps, acting as a key technical contributor to the content delivery platform.
What you’ll do:
Develop, configure, and maintain the Strapi-based CMS platform;Optimize Strapi performance, publishing workflows, and API response times;Design and optimize content types, components, and Dynamic Zones for scalability and usability;Tune PostgreSQL performance and identify and resolve database bottlenecks;Implement and maintain Preview, Webhook, and Publishing mechanisms;Manage Media Library integrations and S3/MinIO storage configurations;Define and execute migration strategies across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production environmentsEnsure data integrity and consistency across environments;Work closely with Frontend, Architecture, and DevOps teams to troubleshoot and resolve critical incidents;Contribute to technical decisions impacting content delivery, scalability, and platform stability;Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation.
What we’re looking for:
4+ years of professional software development experience;Strong hands-on experience with Strapi development and administration;Solid understanding of headless CMS architecture;Strong experience with API design and development;Good knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js;Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including query optimization and database performance tuning;Experience with S3, MinIO, or similar cloud storage solutions;Experience designing and optimizing RESTful APIs;Understanding of CI/CD and environment management;Good understanding of DevOps practices and infrastructure;Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and work independently;Strong communication and collaboration skills;Fluent Romanian and English.
Nice to have:
Experience with GraphQL;Knowledge of Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms;Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or Prometheus;Experience with webhook architecture and event-driven systems;Background in media management or Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
