About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Lead Mobile Engineer to lead the development of a patient-facing mobile application for iOS and Android.
You will take ownership of the mobile solution end-to-end, working with React Native, Expo, TypeScript, and an enterprise Microsoft / .NET backend environment.
You’ll play a key role in technical architecture, security, authentication, deployment, and overall mobile engineering quality.
This is a remote position open to candidates based in Poland only.
Working Hours
At this stage, only several hours of overlap with the Minneapolis, US team are required.
You will not be expected to work a full US business day.
We are looking for someone who can be flexible and available for several hours of collaboration with the US team.
The exact working schedule will be agreed with the project team during onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
Mobile Architecture & Development: Design and build scalable iOS and Android applications using React Native, Expo (SDK 50+), TypeScript, and Expo Router.Authentication & Security: Implement secure OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect flows, including PKCE, JWT management, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) integration.WebView & Session Management: Design secure session propagation between native mobile components and authenticated WebView environments.CI/CD & App Deployment: Configure and maintain EAS Build and EAS Submit pipelines and manage releases through Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Console.Mobile Infrastructure: Implement deep linking, push notifications using Azure Notification Hub, APNs and FCM, secure storage, and other mobile platform capabilities.Technical Leadership: Drive technical decisions, establish development best practices, and collaborate with developers, product stakeholders, and the wider project team.End-to-End Ownership: Take responsibility for the mobile application's technical delivery, quality, security, and lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
Mandatory
Strong commercial experience developing iOS and Android applications with React Native and Expo.Advanced proficiency in TypeScript.Strong practical knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, PKCE, JWT, and Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD.Hands-on experience with React Native WebView, authentication/session management, and REST APIs.Experience managing mobile application releases and EAS Build / EAS Submit.Practical experience with Expo SecureStore or similar secure storage solutions.Experience with mobile push notifications, including APNs and FCM.Strong English communication skills.Ability to work independently and take technical ownership in a distributed team.Currently based in Poland.

Experience with Azure AD B2C / CIAM or MSAL for mobile.Experience in healthcare, regulated industries, or patient-facing applications.Experience with hybrid architectures combining native mobile applications and web-based solutions.Experience working with Microsoft Azure and .NET ecosystems.
