Description
We are looking for an experienced Technical Product Lead to own and drive the development of our operator-grade Voice Platform.
This is a highly technical leadership role combining product ownership, solution architecture, and engineering management.
You will define the platform roadmap, lead technical decisions, coordinate a small engineering team, and ensure the reliability and scalability of voice services running in production.
What you’ll do:
Own and develop the technical roadmap for the Voice PlatformTranslate business and operational requirements into technical tasks and delivery plansLead architecture decisions for SIP routing, carrier interconnects, RTP/media handling, high availability, observability, and scalingManage and mentor the engineering team responsible for voice servicesDefine delivery priorities, acceptance criteria, testing strategy, and release approachDrive reliability, incident analysis, postmortems, and continuous platform improvementOwn capacity planning: CPS, concurrent calls, SIP signaling load, DB load, RTP relay loadOversee carrier interconnect logic: provider routing, failover, redundancy, quality controlImprove CI/CD practices for SIP configuration validation, routing tests, regression tests, deployment, and rollbackEnsure strong observability: call-id correlation, structured logs, metrics, alerts, SIP/RTP tracingCollaborate with NOC/support during production incidents and escalations.

Strong hands-on background in SIP/VoIP platformsDeep understanding of SIP call flows: routing, dialogs, transactions, branches, in-dialog requestsStrong understanding of SIP NAT traversal: registration, authentication, Contact, Record-Route/Route handlingSDP offer/answer, codec negotiation, RTP/RTCP troubleshootingSRTP and DTLS-SRTP basicsWebRTC signaling and media basicsSIP tracing and troubleshooting with sngrep, tcpdump, and WiresharkCarrier interconnect experience: providers, routing, failover, traffic policiesDNS SRV for SIP routing and failoverProduction troubleshooting and incident analysis experienceKnowledge of main SIP/SDP/RTP-related RFCsSIP over UDP, TCP, TLS, WebSocketSIP security risks: spoofing, malformed messages, toll fraudHA/failover architecture and observability patternsIn-depth Kamailio experienceLua KEMI routingGood knowledge of Kamailio modulesRTPengine experienceArchitecture/design experience for production telecom systemsExperience leading or coordinating an engineering teamAbility to communicate with both engineers and non-technical stakeholdersFluent Russian, Conversational English.
