GCS Malta is currently looking for a Software Engineer to work with an innovative business software company in Malta. The chosen candidate shall be responsible for... Responsibilities: Producing and maintaining the best quality software using the latest technologyAssisting the Software Development Manager/Team Leader in scheduling and allocating resourcesTesting, implementing and designing systems using well-established standards and proceduresApplying and setting up of automotive manufacturer interfacesDeveloping customer and country specific programs, reports and solutionsImplementing print manager solutionsPerforming effective technical analysis and 2nd line of supportHandling of projects technical supportBuilding an area of advanced competencies in selected areas of DMSAssisting in System upgrades and patching The chosen candidate is required to possess a First Degree in Software Development or any other equivalent qualification. Knowledge of databases such as ISAM, ORACLE, MSSQL, knowledge of VB, C/C++, Web Services, XML and Soap as well as server administration techniques of NT/Linux based platforms will be considered as assets. An excellent command of both spoken and written English is a must while fluency in languages such as French and/or Arabic will be considered an asset.
