Description

Navii is an AI recruiter, running this search on behalf of iFIT. HERE'S HOW IT WORKS Rather than your resume sitting in a queue, you have a conversation with Navii about your experience and what you want next. What you say reaches iFIT's hiring team in your own words. It is a required step, takes about 30 minutes, and there is nothing to schedule. NEXT STEP A conversation with Navii about this role: https://app.heynavii.ai/careers/manager-platform-engineering-tech-lead-8aa418bf ABOUT iFIT As a leader in the health and fitness industry, iFIT's vision is to create the world's most holistic health and fitness platform, integrating all elements of health, physical fitness, mental health, nutrition, and active recovery, into a seamless interactive experience. This is a remote Manager, Platform Engineering (Tech Lead) role for someone who wants to own the platform that makes iFIT's holistic health experience possible: cloud ops and infrastructure, platform self-service and tooling, and AI-native developer workflows. It is a hands-on tech lead role rather than a pure people manager, so you should still want to be in the work. THE WORK • Own cloud operations and infrastructure across AWS EKS, GCP GKE and Azure AKS, with Terraform as the source of truth. • Build platform self-service and tooling so product engineers can ship without waiting on you. • Drive AI-native developer workflows into how the team actually builds. • Own CI/CD, IAM roles and policies, permission boundaries, networking and storage. • Lead incident response and make reliability a property of the system rather than a heroic effort. WHAT YOU'LL NEED • Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production (EKS, GKE or AKS) and Terraform. • Strong CI/CD and Git workflow ownership. • IAM depth: roles, policies, permission boundaries, and least-privilege design. • Networking and storage fundamentals at cloud scale. • Incident response experience, and the instinct to fix the class of problem rather than the instance. • Technical leadership without needing to stop building. COMP AND LOGISTICS Remote in the United States. $190,000 to $225,000. NON-TRADITIONAL BACKGROUNDS If you have run platform or infrastructure teams in any environment and can show what you owned end to end, we want to hear from you.
