The Project Join a large scale digital transformation program delivering modern technology solutions within a complex environment. This role will contribute to the development and enhancement of critical enterprise applications, integrating with existing business systems to improve service delivery, data management and operational efficiency. Working within a multidisciplinary Agile team, you will design, build, test and deploy scalable .NET solutions while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high quality, secure and maintainable software. Please note this role is based in the CBD of Perth, and cannot be performed remotely. There is a requirement for the successful candidate to work onsite all 5 days. Responsibilities Design, develop, enhance and support enterprise applications using modern .NET technologies and cloud-based platforms.Build, maintain and optimise solutions hosted in Microsoft Azure, including web applications, serverless services, databases and secure storage components.Develop and support system integrations using APIs, middleware and reporting platforms to enable seamless data exchange across multiple business systems.Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments and release processes to support efficient software delivery.Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues and improve system reliability using industry-standard monitoring and observability tools.Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver solutions and support continuous improvement initiatives.Produce and maintain high quality technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, API specifications, deployment procedures and environment configurations.Ensure solutions align with security, governance and compliance requirements while following development best practices. Skills and Experience Proven commercial experience developing applications using .NET technologies.Strong experience working with Microsoft Azure services, including App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Blob Storage and Key Vault.Experience using Azure DevOps for source control, build automation, release management and CI/CD pipeline development.Demonstrated experience with integration technologies, API development and enterprise data integration solutions.Knowledge of monitoring, logging and application performance management tools such as Application Insights, Grafana or similar platforms.Hands-on experience with modern development tools, including Visual Studio, VS Code, SQL Server Management Studio and Git.Front-end development experience with frameworks such as AngularJS, Blazor WebAssembly or comparable technologies.Experience integrating with business platforms, workflow systems or financial applications will be highly regarded.Exposure to AI-assisted software development tools, including GitHub Copilot, Copilot Studio or equivalent technologies.Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall and DevOps delivery methodologies.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Relevant tertiary qualifications, industry certifications or equivalent practical experience in software development or technology.ITIL, PRINCE2 or other relevant industry certifications would be advantageous.Experience working within large, complex or highly regulated environments will be highly regarded.
