Systems Engineer

About the role We are looking for Systems Engineer to design, operate, and continuously evolve StormGeo’s core infrastructure and platforms, ensuring high levels of stability, scalability, security, and long-term sustainability. In this role, you will support standardized, automated, and platform-oriented IT services that enable business growth, enhance reliability, and ensure efficient, resilient operations across the organization. 📍 This position is based in Vilnius, Lithuania. Main Responsibilities Operate, maintain, and continuously improve Microsoft-based infrastructure, with a strong focus on Windows Server, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Exchange / Exchange Online. Administer, troubleshoot, and optimize Windows Server environments and related infrastructure services. Administer and maintain Microsoft Exchange / Exchange Online environments, ensuring reliable and secure mail services. Operate and continuously improve Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services. Ensure high availability, resilience, and recoverability of critical services. Implement and maintain automation and infrastructure-as-code practices. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and production issues and contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement. Collaborate closely with Network, Security, and Service Desk teams to ensure reliable and secure operations. Core Requirements Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration. Practical experience administering Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure. Experience with Microsoft Exchange / Exchange Online administration and troubleshooting. Solid understanding of Windows infrastructure services, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and related technologies. Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work effectively in business-critical production environments. Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell. Proven experience in IT operations, including incident management, problem solving, and production support. Nice to Have Experience administering VMware virtualization environments. Experience with Linux environments, particularly Ubuntu. Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar tools. Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible. Experience with AWS or other public cloud platforms. Experience with Kubernetes, including platforms such as Tanzu. The final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience, and qualifications.
