Job Title: Senior Associate/Manager – Talend ETL Lead
Location: Mississauga, ON (Canada) / Marlborough, MA (USA)
Shift: Day Shift (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST)
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Talend ETL Lead / Manager with 12+ years of experience in Data Integration, Data Warehouse, and ETL development.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Talend ETL, SQL/Snowflake, and data warehousing technologies, along with proven experience leading offshore teams and collaborating with business and technology stakeholders in a fast-paced retail environment.
This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on development capabilities, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to drive end-to-end delivery of enterprise-scale data integration solutions using Agile methodologies.
Required Experience & Qualifications
12+ years of IT experience with strong expertise in: Talend ETL Development and ArchitectureData Warehousing and Data Integration SolutionsShell Scripting (Intermediate Level)Strong hands-on experience with: SQL ProgrammingSnowflakeOracle and other RDBMS platformsExperience working in Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

Technical Leadership
Lead the design, development, enhancement, and support of enterprise-scale ETL and Data Warehouse solutions using Talend.Provide technical leadership and guidance to onsite and offshore development teams.Drive solution architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical best practices.Ensure adherence to enterprise development standards, governance, and security policies.Data Integration & ETL Development
Design and implement high-volume, high-performance data integration solutions using Talend.Develop and optimize ETL workflows, data pipelines, and batch processing solutions.Conduct source system analysis, data profiling, and impact assessments.Create and maintain Source-to-Target mappings and technical design documents.Perform performance tuning and optimization for ETL jobs, SQL queries, and data loads.Database & Data Warehouse Management
Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts across Snowflake, Oracle, and other relational databases.Support data quality initiatives through validation, reconciliation, and exception handling processes.Collaborate with Data Architects and Business Analysts on data modeling and warehouse design activities.Project Delivery & Stakeholder Management
Partner with business users, product owners, architects, and project teams to gather and refine requirements.Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.Drive issue resolution, risk mitigation, and production support activities.Manage stakeholder communication and provide regular project status updates.
