Job Description – .NET Developer Position Title: .NET Developer Client: Enterprise BFSI Location: Sydney (Hybrid) Employment Type: Permanent About the Role Cloud Raptor is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade applications and APIs. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions while collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, business analysts, and engineering teams. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer who is passionate about modern software engineering practices, cloud technologies, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities **Deep SQL Experience - Ability to resolve SQL CPU Bottlenecks, complete SQL performance tuning and optimisation. •Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using the Microsoft .NET technology stack. •Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices. •Develop high-quality, maintainable, and reusable code following coding standards and best practices. •Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. •Participate in solution design, code reviews, and technical discussions. •Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across development, test, and production environments. •Implement automated testing and contribute to CI/CD pipelines. •Ensure security, performance, and scalability considerations are incorporated into all solutions. •Support application modernization and cloud migration initiatives. •Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Technical Skills & Experience Essential •Strong experience with: oC# o.NET Core / .NET 8+ oASP.NET Core oWeb APIs / REST Services •Strong SQL Server development skills. •Experience with Entity Framework and ORM frameworks. •Experience building and consuming APIs and integration services. •Front-end development experience using: oAngular, React, or JavaScript frameworks oHTML5 oCSS3 oJavaScript / TypeScript •Experience with source control tools such as Git. •Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns. •Experience with automated unit and integration testing. •Experience working within Agile delivery environments. Desirable •Experience with Azure cloud services: oAzure App Services oAzure Functions oAzure DevOps oAzure Storage oAzure Service Bus •Experience with containerisation technologies: oDocker oKubernetes •Microservices architecture experience. •Messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. •CI/CD pipeline implementation. •Experience within Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, or Wealth Management sectors.
