Description

A Senior Communications Systems Engineer – PHY / MAC is sought by this leader in emerging wireless / IoT communications. Based at their R+D Centre in Delft the Senior Communications Systems Engineer – PHY / MAC will be responsible for the design and development of next generation advanced communication systems focussing on bandwidth, latency and power efficiency. The Senior Communications Systems Engineer – PHY / MAC will also be responsible for developing innovative algorithms to address systems level problems and for analysing emerging standard requirements (BLE, LTE LoRa, etc.) for next generation development. You will be an experienced Senior Communications Systems Engineer with a deep knowledge of DSP and PHY layer components (modulation / demodulation, filtering, channel estimation etc.) and strong Matlab and C/C++ programming skills. You will have a solid track record of working at PHY / MAC layer relating to some of the following: BLE, NB-IoT, LTE, LoRa, IEEE 802.11 coupled with some exposure to working with RTL, fixed point calculations or FPGA / ASIC implementation in a communication systems environment.
