Job Summary Assist in the design, definition, development, and test for an enterprise class NetApp cloud application software. We are looking for Software Engineers who thrive in a high-performance team tasked with finding creative solutions to the most profound data challenges customers face. Wielding cutting-edge technologies, you can help create/stabilize new products and services that bring NetApp’s data fabric to every application. Key Responsibilities Software Development: Assist in designing, coding, and testing code to drive the core workflows according to project requirements and established software development standards.Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system defects. This includes debugging code, resolving configuration issues, and fixing software defects.Performance Analysis: Analyze the performance of systems, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing solutions.Optimization: Optimize code, database queries, server configurations, or other areas to improve performance.Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including senior engineers, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and database administrators, during all stages of development.Documentation: Document functionality, design, development, and testing strategies.Communication: Demonstrates outstanding proficiency in both written and oral communication.Foundational skills: Basic knowledge of relevant software and tools (e.g., Go Lang, Python, Database, message queues, REST API) Job Requirements Must have good communication skillsMust have Golang and Python programming experienceExperience with general understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, data structures and standard programming practicesExperience developing and delivering REST, JSON, XML based APIs for configuration, reporting, etcExperience programming on Linux platformExperience using relational database preferably PostgreSQL, and NoSQL database preferably RedisExperience with Microservice architecture Education Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering)Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience. Compensation The target salary range for this position is 113,050 - 168,300 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off, various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
