Software Engineer – Release Quality & Systems Debugging

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Lead on-time, high-quality software releases across a large number of devices. • Manage the complete release quality and triage lifecycle, including deployment, triage, mitigation, and tool development. • Investigate customer-impacting field issues, identify root causes, and guide development teams toward resolutions. • Monitor telemetry dashboards to proactively identify and address emerging customer issues. • Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams and external partners, communicating findings clearly. • Contribute to and follow Agile development practices, identifying new tools and processes to improve workflows. What You'll Need • Experience in software engineering, systems debugging, or technical support with strong problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in Linux and at least one programming language (C, C++, Python, or similar). • Exposure to data analysis or monitoring tools (e.g., Elastic, Splunk, Datadog) is advantageous. • Understanding of software development practices, version control, and Agile methodologies. • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
