Platform Engineer | Series B | Scale-up Location: London (Hybrid) Salary: £competitive + Strong Bens AWS | Kubernetes | Terraform / IaC | CI/CD | Platform Engineering I’m currently looking for: Platform Engineer (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform/CDK, GitHub Actions) Our client is a high-growth, Series B technology company building a data-intensive platform used in a complex, real-time industry. Following significant investment, they’re scaling their engineering function and continuing to build out the platform that sits underneath their products. This role sits within Platform Engineering, focused on making it easier for engineering teams to build, deploy and run software at scale. You’ll get exposure across the full platform lifecycle, working on: Internal developer platforms, tooling and automationAWS infrastructure across EKS, ECS and LambdaKubernetes and the continued migration of workloads onto EKSInfrastructure as Code using AWS CDK / Terraform / CloudFormationCI/CD, including a move from CircleCI to GitHub ActionsObservability and monitoring with DatadogData & streaming infrastructure including Kafka, Flink, Redis, RDS and RedshiftSupporting engineers with infrastructure and production issues You don’t need to be an expert across everything. We’re looking for someone with a good grounding in AWS, Infrastructure as Code and containers/Kubernetes, who wants to deepen their experience in modern Platform Engineering. There’s a big focus on automation, ownership and developer experience — spotting things that slow engineers down and building better ways of doing them.
