You will get the opportunity to work on a range of projects, from conceptual stage through to detailed design, commissioning and qualification. Responsibilities As Senior Mechanical Engineer you would be responsible for:- Coordination of Mechanical Design Team to achieve project deliverablesTechnical input and support for Mechanical Design TeamCoordination of design with other design disciplines and equipment suppliersOwnership of equipment modules and packages through design and procurement phasesCompletion of Design Risk AssessmentsParticipation in Technical and Safety reviewsInterfacing with Client Design Team/end usersMechanical optimization/site supportDelivery of agreed design scope within budget hours and schedulePrepare Scope of Work DocumentationPrepare Mechanical Project SpecificationsCost / man hour estimationHandover of O&M manuals to Client Qualifications To be successful in this role you will have:- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Engineers with a primary degree in Chemical/Process Engineering and relevant process experience may also be considered)Substantial experience in the Pharmaceutical, Mission Critical or Biopharmaceutical sectorsSelf-starter, experience in leading a design team and in coordinating the efforts of othersGood communication skills (ability to lead Technical and Safety reviewsChartered status desirable
