Job Description – Senior Software Engineer (.NET) The Role We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (.NET) to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance healthcare applications, including Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Hospital Information Systems (HIS), and related enterprise solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for developing modern .NET applications using Onion Architecture principles, implementing best coding practices, and mentoring junior developers. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, QA Engineers, UI/UX Designers, and other engineering teams to deliver reliable and maintainable software that meets business and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities · Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using .NET Core/.NET, ASP.NET Core MVC/Web API, and C#. · Build scalable solutions using Clean Architecture, Onion Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, and Vertical Slice Architecture where applicable. · Develop secure RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party systems. · Implement asynchronous programming, multithreading, and high-performance coding practices. · Optimize application performance, scalability, and database operations. · Design and develop robust backend services with strong focus on reliability and maintainability. · Collaborate with frontend developers working with React or Angular (TypeScript) to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions. · Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making. · Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure coding standards and best practices. · Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following SOLID principles. · Develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests. · Implement logging, monitoring, and observability using tools such as OpenTelemetry. · Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. · Work closely with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. · Ensure application security, data integrity, and compliance with healthcare software standards where applicable. · Support production deployments, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance during releases. Required Skills & Experience · 7+ years of professional experience in software development. · Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core/.NET, ASP.NET Core MVC, and Web API. · Strong knowledge of Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and ORM concepts. · Experience with SQL Server and/or MySQL, including database design and query optimization. · Solid understanding of Clean Architecture, Onion Architecture, SOLID Principles, and design patterns. · Experience with CQRS, MediatR, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD). · Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming, multithreading, dependency injection, and concurrency handling. · Experience designing and consuming REST APIs. · Hands-on experience with authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth, or Identity frameworks. · Experience with Git and modern version control workflows. · Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation. · Good understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies. · Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. · Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills · Experience with React or Angular using TypeScript. · Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus. · Experience with Redis caching and distributed caching strategies. · Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration. · Knowledge of OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, centralized logging, and application monitoring. · Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS. · Experience developing healthcare applications such as EMR, HIS, LIS, RIS, PACS, or Dental Information Systems. · Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, or DICOM is an advantage. Qualifications · Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. · Microsoft, Azure, AWS, or software architecture certifications are considered an advantage. · Experience working in healthcare software or other regulated industries is highly desirable.
