The Role
A seasoned ML Engineer to Architect Machine learning Models for Generative AI related research
The Person
The ideal candidate should be passionate about Generative AI and Neural Networks and its application in graphics technology, skills to drive sophisticated issues to resolution.
Able to communicate effectively and work optimally with different teams across AMD.
Applied Research and Engineering team is looking for the following
Key Responsibilities
Proficiency in machine learning and Artificial Intelligence especially around model architecture General software development workflow knowledge: git, cmake, CI, etcExpert programming skills in Python, C and/or C++Expertise in Machine Learning techniques and its application within graphicsProficient in English.
Preferred Experience
Strong object-oriented programming backgroundUnderstanding model distillationUnderstanding image upscaling Ability to write high quality code with a keen attention to detail Experience with modern concurrent programming and threading APIs Experience with software development processes and tools such as debuggers, source code control systems (Git) and profilers is a plus Effective communication and problem-solving skills Motivating leader with good interpersonal skills Experience in coding with AI tools and agents
Academic Credentials
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science especially Machine Learning, Generative AI, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
