About The Role We are seeking a highly experienced Software Developer to join our dynamic team at Embedded Shishya. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in core Java development and extensive experience working with Spring, Hibernate, and RESTful web services. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust software solutions that support our embedded systems and related applications. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products, ensure system performance, and implement best coding practices. Qualifications At least 4 to 10+ years of software development experience, demonstrating a progressive career in software engineering.Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate ORM, and RESTful web services, including familiarity with data interchange formats such as XML and JSON.Experience working with distributed caching technologies like Apache Ignite or similar solutions.Familiarity with various persistent storage technologies, including RDBMS such as Sybase, SQL Server, or Oracle, as well as NoSQL databases.Solid experience with source code management tools such as Git or Bitbucket.Good understanding of clean coding principles, code quality metrics, and tools like SonarQube for code analysis.Ability to implement comprehensive unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure software reliability.Strong knowledge of design patterns and best practices in software architecture.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle ambiguity and complex problem-solving scenarios. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient Java-based applications aligned with project requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with various data interchange formats such as XML and JSON.Utilize distributed caching technologies to optimize application performance and scalability.Work with different persistent storage technologies, ensuring data integrity and efficient data access.Maintain and improve existing codebases by refactoring and optimizing for better performance and maintainability.Participate in code reviews, contribute to the development of coding standards, and ensure adherence to best practices.Write comprehensive unit, integration, and functional tests to verify code correctness and robustness.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely solutions to ensure smooth project delivery.Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance technical skills and project outcomes.
