About The Role We are seeking a highly motivated SAP Developer to join our IT team and actively contribute to the ongoing development of our SAP landscape. In this role, you will work on enhancing our backend systems, focusing on the expansion of OData interfaces, CDS views, and ABAP development. Your expertise will support the creation of high-performance, reliable data foundations for various applications, including our customer app and Fiori-based solutions. You will collaborate with external design and development teams to deliver innovative user interfaces and functionalities, ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems. This position offers an excellent opportunity to influence the future of our digital infrastructure, working with cutting-edge SAP technologies such as SAP BTP and Fiori, while also translating business requirements into efficient technical solutions. Qualifications The ideal candidate holds a degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable qualification with SAP relevance. You should possess practical experience in maintaining SAP systems, with knowledge of modules such as RE/FX or PM being advantageous. Proficiency in ABAP, ABAP OO, CDS Views, and OData development is essential, along with a solid understanding of customizing and eigenentwicklungen within SAP environments. Your technical skill set should be complemented by a strong analytical mindset and the ability to bridge technical and process-oriented perspectives. Fluency in German is required, and a proactive attitude towards innovation and teamwork is highly valued. Previous experience with SAP Fiori development and SAP BTP is a plus, but not mandatory. Responsibilities You will develop and manage robust SAP backend solutions, including expanding OData interfaces, CDS views, and ABAP-based functionalities. Ensuring high performance and data integrity for applications and services will be a core part of your role. You will contribute to the evolution of the Vonovia customer app and Fiori applications by providing backend functionalities and technical support to external design and development teams. Your creative input will help design modern user interfaces and enhance user experience through SAPUI5 frontend development. You will leverage current SAP technologies like SAP BTP and Fiori to drive innovation and implement future-proof system architectures. Additionally, you will analyze business processes, interpret requirements from various departments, and translate these into sustainable, efficient technical solutions that support our organizational goals.
