Core Full Stack Engineer – Platform & Products

We are a stealth startup in Doha, building an agentic AI platform for organisations that deliver project work - contractors, engineering and consulting firms, facilities operators, and departments inside large organisations and government. Role Build and own the web platform that brings our AI agents to life. You will develop the user-facing applications, role-based access control, and core backend services that let teams securely put AI agents to work on live projects. The role sits at the intersection of product and Backend. You will also mentor two to four engineers and propose changes to the core - data model, agent boundaries, service design. Architecture and engineering standards. What You’ll Do Build and maintain web applications (Agentic Orchestration layer, workflows, our SaaS platform)Design and develop backend APIs that connect AI services to the product.Work closely with our AI, ML and MLOps engineers to ship end-to-end features.Own GitHub workflows, code reviews, branching strategies, and CI pipelines.Ensure the platform is secure, scalable, and production-ready.Take AI features from prototype to production.Build connectors into the systems customers already run - Oracle, Yardi, SAP, Dynamics.Build and maintain Python backend services on Google Cloud and Firebase.Ship the front end of your own features where needed - React / Next.js, in Arabic and English. Raise how the team builds with AI: prompt and eval review, agent-assisted development practice, what to automate and what not to. What You Bring Strong experience with modern web stacks (React / Next.js, Node.js / Python, REST APIs)Experience implementing AI Agents within multi-tenant SaaS architecturesSolid understanding of databases (Postgres, NoSQL)Comfort with GitHub, CI/CD, and code quality practicesExperience building enterprise-grade web applications6+ years shipping production software, weighted toward backendStrong core Python - not framework-deep onlyYou have shipped LLM features into production and know the difference between a demo that works and a feature that holds. Retrieval, prompt design, structured output, failure modes, cost and latencyYou write evaluations before you trust output, and you regression-test systems that do not return the same answer twiceEnterprise integration experience - Oracle, Yardi or comparable. You have dealt with a customer's real data model, not a clean APIYou build with coding agents daily and have opinions about where they breakBased in Qatar or willing to relocate Nice to Have Experience with AI-powered products or data-heavy platformsFamiliarity with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS)Project-driven industry background - construction, engineering, facilities, procurement, energyExperience working in early-stage startups Why This Role You’ll ship something interesting that GCC needs at this moment, Your work will directly shape usability, security, and trust in an AI-driven construction platform.
